Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is very nice. It was great to have a private beach. The house needs a bit more cleaning. When we pulled out the Hide-a bed, there was a lot of mouse poop and also the the cupboards had mouse poop.

I apologize for the rodent droppings, . We have been having an awful mouse problem, when the first quest arrived at the beach I told them of the problem. I had checked the cupboards that morning and thought all the dropping were cleaned up.
As for the hide-a-bed, it not even listed as an option for use, ( it was broken by previous guest) we no longer supply bedding for it. No excuse for me not checking it, I had checked earlier and it was dropping free, will make an effort to always check in the future.
The rustic log cabin is located in the middle of a field with unparalleled views of the main Salmon River, hence rodents are a continuing problem.
Again my apologies for missing the dropping prior to your stay.

watching the local wildlife. From the covered porch you can watch deer, elk, quail, doves, coyotes and several different colorful songbirds. The river always has whitewater rafters floating down or Jet boats going up & down. This property has everything you need for a great stay.

This place is that special to my wife and I so when her aunt from France decided to visit us we immediately knew where to go. The owners were very friendly and helpful with our stay.
