Posted Oct. 28, 2024 on HomeAwayWe really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of our short but relaxing getaway. Everything was as described in the listing, and location was a short drive to hiking, breweries and shops. Would definitely recommend!

True solitude yet close to town!
Posted Oct. 9, 2024 on HomeAwayThis is the perfect place if you want true solitude in the mountains yet you'd like to run out for lunch or dinner without driving an hour!
Such a peaceful location with mountain views--and going into Luray was a breeze (we highly recommend West Main Deli & Beer Garden . . . the food, drinks & atmosphere were wonderful!).
We got into the habit of bringing everything we could think of to VRBOs, and then lost the habit once we realized that so many places were stocked full of needed items (soap, shampoos, condiments, spices for cooking, etc.). For this place, DO bring whatever you think you'll need: soap, shampoo, condiments, cooking spices, etc. Also, bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid if you want to grill. Once you have everything, you might not want to leave!

Nice place to get away!
Posted Oct. 8, 2024 on HomeAwayThe property was exactly as described. The place was clean and well maintained. I had a small hag up witht the detectors going off. It was resolved quickly. This was my 1st stay with a vrbo. I was super happy. I would recommend this place to anyone.
