Wonderful weekend in this lovely cottage
Publié le 15 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely stay at Kim’s place. It was very clean and comfortable, including very comfy bed. Kim was always quick to respond / communicate and very friendly. Nice location on edge of new forest and next to Blashford Lakes where you can see all sorts of birds. We really enjoyed!

Publié le 9 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a gem. Luxuriously appointed with beautiful bedroom and quality comfy bed and bed linen. In such a perfect area for walks and lovely pubs only close by. The Royal Oak in particular serves great food.Would recommend this oroperty to anyone.

Beautiful Retreat

Communication was brilliant and we had been left some wonderful supplies to get us started. The location next to Ellingham Church is very peaceful and the cottage is finished to a very high standard.
We have no hesitation in highly recommending this property.

Publié le 13 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay at the Snug, the property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and accessibility was very good.
We enjoyed the quality treats in the welcome hamper, the best we have ever had!
The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great and we enjoyed spending time in the little garden, which was a real sun trap when the weather was good.
Accessibility is sometimes a little difficult for me but there are no steps into the property from the parking space and one shallow step from the bedroom to the kitchen. A step out into the garden was manageable but the deck, although a perfectly normal height for most people was a bit high for me but there was room on the lower level to put one of the comfortable garden chairs, so I was able to enjoy using the space and watching the birds and squirrel.
The kitchen is quite small, there is freezer space you can use in an outhouse. It's suitable for preparing light meals but equipment is limited but having the dishwasher was great. We found great places to eat out in the evening and for breakfast, so it wasn't an issue for us.
Lots to do in the area, we visited some great gardens and the coast.
We would recommend a stay at this peaceful retreat.
