we are repeat guests for one reason. we like the restaurant and the staff there. there are limited options in this town.
however the hotel overall. its a mess. not managed properly, everytime we book, there are extra charges, its a long process to check in because they accept bookings for pool or beach views, when when you arrive you have to pay extra for beach even if you book beach.
even though the place is "renovated", everything was done with such cheap garbage, showers broken, AC broken.
most of what they show on hotels.com isn't real. they say 2 restaurants. there is one with limited hours. they say bar... its useless, they have beer. the actual bar with cocktails never has alcohol and when we bother them for drinks, they will order alcohol the next day, but then can't make drinks because they say the staff isn't there.
Overall, we have stayed here 6 times, simply because we like the fish and staff at the restaurant PLUS there are LIMITED options to stay at hotels in this region.
I will stay here again but my expectations are very limited. Also until the owner recognizes when people come back so many times simply for the fish and not the hotel and repeatedly tell them about the problems with the hotel, you would think they would attend to you a little extra when you actually give them more and more changes.

Where do I start. First I booked a room with a full beach view and was given the wrong room and was being charged more than what I booked for. It took over 40 mins for the front desk person to try and correct the issue. Only one key is provided in order to control the air coordinator, it will turn off when leaving the room thus when you return it is very hot.
Shower was broken and had to take a shower in a vacant room.
They do not provide any kind of toiletries. No refrigerator, blow dryer or iron. The food terrible and cold. If you want ice be ready to pay for it as they will only provide a cup.
Will not stay here again..
