A real climb!
Publié le 2 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful. Old. Well updated. For us(over 70), it was probably too much of a climb. But once we got there, it was great. We later learned that our 3 day Cinque Terre pass got us free rides on the shuttle. Much easier.

Thank you Wendy. The atmosphere you breathe in the house with the ceiling with exposed beams, the terracotta floor and the handcrafted furniture gives a good rest after walking to visit the 5 Terre. Also the location of the apartment, close to the main road but in a quiet courtyard allows you to fully enjoy the atmosphere of Riomaggiore. Thank you for being our guests, I look forward to seeing you again!

Amazing
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was such a great stay. So unique. The home is beautiful and transports you back in time. After visiting the other towns in cinque I’m so glad we chose riomaggiore and I can’t imagine a better rental than Poalos.
Just charming. So relaxing.
One tip
Get restaurant reservations way ahead of time. It’s almost impossible to go to dinner anywhere without reservations. This is true 7 days a week. So glad I booked rio bistro weeks ahead of time. There was a huge crowd waiting to get in at 7pm when they opened and they turned everyone away without one.

People eat super late here.
If you want to enjoy nightlife sleep in as long as you can.

Authentic property in CT!

The only issue we had was the washer/dryer did not work so we had to take laundry to be laundered. We had a wonderful time in CT!!!! Thank you.

Easy and relaxing stay

Easy communication with Paola, apartment looked like the pictures and was located in a good spot in Riomaggiore (a bit walk to uphill though, but you cannot avoid that). Parking a huge plus. Wifi worked well, as well as airconditioning, which was a must during our stay in July. Only small minus was that the washing machine was still out of use. Warmly recommended!

Hi, I'm glad you enjoyed Riomaggiore and the apartment! It's true, the beauty of the Cinque Terre is that they are perched from the sea to the hill and the steps are everywhere, when you admire the landscape from the panoramic road or from the via dell'amore you are left breathless. I'm sorry about the washing machine, we are looking for a very small washing machine model to fit in the space and replace it but it's not that simple. Along the main road there is a self-service laundry. I'm still waiting for you for a holiday in Riomaggiore or in our house on Lake Como!

Lovely apartment in Riomaggiore

The town is beautiful, and we were able to watch the sunset over the water from a seaside bar our first night. This apartment is cozy, clean, and very quiet. We cooked in one night and had so much fun there. Grazie and Ciao!

Great stay perfect location!
Publié le 31 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything was great, the host was super helpful and responsive, very nicely decorated. Easy to follow directions and check-in process. The only issue was the washing machine did not work properly.
