Beautiful and extremely expensive.
Publié le 25 sept. 2019 sur HotelsThe place is really cool near a couple dunes. Good stuff and service. The price though is extremely expensive for the service provided, and anything to do there outside of just hanging out is not included in the price

Amazing experience!
Publié le 15 sept. 2019 sur HotelsWe had an amazing 2-night stay at Kam Kam camps. We were welcomed graciously with tea and treats (as is typical in Morocco). The camp grounds were beautiful. Our tent was perfectly comfortable with gorgeously decorated, but still fairly simple as is expected when camping in the desert. Dinner was delicious and you definitely will not go hungry. Sunrise camel ride up into the dines was magical. And we spent a day touring the desert on a 4WD car with a tour guide which was an experience we will never forget (STAY 2 NIGHTS HERE AND DO THIS!!)
This was definitely the trip of a lifetime and I don’t think we pulled our jaws off the ground the entire time.

The staff are all very welcoming to all of us eight college friends, especially Mohamed, Hassan, Hamin etc. They put up a dancing/music party for us and each one of us also joined them for an hour of crazy fantastic party. In all, we had a great relaxing time on the property.

Overal we had a very nice experience. Staff is ok but seems to be caught up in their daily routine. The location is very nice, a bit more remote than the other deserts camps which are mostly situated very close to each other. Camel ride was awesome and the jam session after diner was a very cosy experience as well. Room looks amazing and what an absolut privilege to have a shower and toilet in the desert! No electricity in the room to charge your devices unfortunately. Breakfast was horrible (one of us had stomach problems following the breakfast), diner was ok. A cool experience overal but happy to leave after one night.

Overpriced but charming.
Publié le 15 mars 2017 sur HotelsStaff somewhat aloof. Not sure what their roles were. One person spoke English. Difficult to communicate requests. The other staff were a bit stand offish, never engaging or smiling. Made for a bit of discomfort. I don't think the rooms/tent are hardly ever cleaned out. Bottled water in the tents on arrival were never replaced after the first day. Trash never emptied during our stay. Felt a bit like being in the twilight zone. It slightly felt like I was imposing on someone's space. Dinners were decent. Breakfast was so so. Wifi pretty much non-existent. Had to use a hot spot off of staff members cell phone. Orange SIMM cards work, but not INWI or MarocTel, so, bring your own Orange SIMM card if you'll need a wifi connection. At dinner time, bon fires were not maintained and burned out quickly even though staff would make their own huge fires before dinner and then go away and let the fires die out while you're having dinner. Classy. No electrical outlets in the tents, only in the common area, one in the "lounge" and one in the "dining" area. For the price, it seems to me that they should have a wifi box for each tent, replace the bottled water daily in the tents, maintain the bon fire during dinner, and after, if you stay for tea or coffee, and empty the trash from the tents on a daily basis. Camel rides were awesome.
