Posted Sep. 27, 2024 on HotelsIt was a nice place to stay. Riverside has a ton of homeless and the staff made sure to keep their lobby safe. They also worked with me on the keeping the same room even though I had booked the nights separately. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Parking is $29 a night even if you park yourself, which is pretty high, but I utilized valet parking and they were awesome.

Great location, with lots of walkable attractions and dining. Hotel was quiet and room was spacious. Mattress was a bit on the springy side but we got a decent night's sleep. Breakfast was good but missing fresh fruit, and they closed at 9am, which seems a bit early. We only stayed 2 nights, so I can't comment on housekeeping, which needs to be scheduled 24 hours in advance.

Limited parking, you have to park in a parking garage which is a short walk from the hotel but not super convenient. Market street on which the hotel resides is quite loud on Friday and Saturday nights, including 2 AM motorcycle races that echoed off the buildings. The room we stayed in needed some cosmetic improvements, particularly in the bathroom. The homeless population around the hotel is a consideration, not necessarily a concern.
