This family friendly secluded modern log cabin sleeps up to 12. Salt water pool, jacuzzi basketball half court. This 13 acre property will make you feel as though you are far from civilization even though you are only minutes from shopping, fine dining, hiking at Shenandoah National Park, wineries/breweries and museums. Surrounded by history you can visit nearby battlefields. And eat at the owners BBQ & TexMex restaurant which is only 15mins in town of culpeper! They're originally from Austin, Texas!

Dogs and rules

Stepped out of vehicle directly into dog poop. Proceeded to find dog hair on everything inside the entire house. I love animals but dont like getting dog hair on me when using dining tables and living room furniture. Also the time limits on the hot tub wasnt revealed untill i arrived. Other than that i woould have given 5 stars it is a very nice place with exceptional amenities.

House is exactly as pictured. Beautiful house and outdoor area. We actually had our wedding and reception here in the large yard and everything worked out great. The host is very helpful and responsive. He has a restaurant with food/catering available for events. Overall great place to stay, comfortably fit lots of people.

Fun Weekend

Had a great stay. Interior was clean, scenic and had all the odds & ends - coffee, pool towels, etc. And if you're a dog lover, Bear and Roxie (the owner's dogs) will stop by and say hello - and there are some great restaurants and shops to check out in the area. Unfortunately we weren't able to swim in the pool the first day of our stay, as it had not been cleaned. I was never emailed check-out instructions, and had to contact the owner directly.

AMAZING

What more can I say about this place? It has everything - 13 acres of quiet, peaceful land, a pool, jacuzzi, beautiful log cabin home with many new updates, amenities and comforts which catered to our party of 8 with ease. The hosts, Ronnie and Maria are incredible! They allowed us to use anything everything in their home as if it was ours, provided anything we needed and if we did need anything, all we had to do is ask. The communication between us and the hosts was phenomenal and they couldn’t have provided anything more for us. They’re also the owners of Burnt End BBQ LLC in Culpepper VA which has incredible food and an awesome atmosphere! This really has been an amazing all around experience and I can’t wait to come back in the near future!

Great poolside getaway in VA

We had a great time at Ronnie’s property. The house and outdoor area was better than the pictures. The pool was lovely and the grounds were well-maintained. I hosted my 30th birthday with several friends and everyone had great feedback.

Amazing Wedding Weekend!

We booked this property to have a small wedding on site, Ronnie was absolutely amazing, he made sure to prepare the Gazebo area so that it would look nicer for our ceremony, he also catered the food for our reception from his restaurant Burt Ends BBQ, the food was great and our guest even went back for thirds! When we got there the cabin was pristine clean, it had everything we could possibly need and he made sure to make himself available for any questions we may have! The pool and hot tub were a big hit with our guests. The property is surrounded by woods which gives you all the privacy you might need. Our wedding was better than we could’ve imagined and Ronnie was a good part of why. We will most definitely be coming back for future getaways!

Wonderful property and pool

We stayed 6 nights at the property. The pool was wonderful we spent pretty much everyday at the pool swimming. The house was very spacious and had more beds than the listing said. 6 beds in total which was nice. We spent our nights out by the pool or on the large patio hanging out. Best thing was no neighbors around so didn’t have to worry about noise or being bothered by people. Ronnie was very attentive to our needs and would respond in minutes when I contacted him. Great stay! I would recommend this property if your looking for a quiet getaway and a fabulous pool.

Beautiful cabin with a great pool

We had a great stay at the cabin. It was beautiful and had all the necessary amenities. Ronnie, who lives on the property, was very helpful and responsive. There were a few things around that could have been a little cleaner. But overall it was a great stay.

Great oasis for a group!

Ronnie's place was perfect for a weekend retreat! Our group of 12 fit comfortably in the space and made good use of the pool and jacuzzi. Ronnie was extremely friendly and communicative before and during our quick stay. He was also kind enough to help us set up the jacuzzi at night and even helped make a fire so our group could do s'mores. The property itself was beautiful, and we all wished we were able to make use of it for more than one night. Highly recommend Ronnie as a host and his place for any potential getaway weekends you might want away from the city! My one regret is not having the chance to check out Ronnie and his wife's BBQ restaurant. Hopefully next time!

Amazing Rehearsal Dinner Space

Weekend away

We had a great weekend, visiting wineries in the area. Despite the rain, the jacuzzi and pool were a lovely way to relax. The house and property were beautiful with a spacious kitchen and deck space for eating. Ronnie was very accomodating and easy to coordinate with. Plus! Burnt Ends BBQ owned by the host was delicious!!! Highly recommend getting one of your meals there if you book at this location.

Lovely Stay

Ronnie and Maria were so gracious and communicative. Because they own a BBQ restaurant, I was able to get dinner catered for our first night. They even delivered it to the door! Ronnie set up his karaoke speaker and showed us how to use the disco ball for a night time dance party. He also set up the fire pit for us. The pool and hot tub were amazing. We brought our own floaties. They had plenty of towels and just little touches that you may forget. It felt like visiting a home. Can't wait to come back! Thank you for hosting!

We had an amazing stay at this spacious and clean cabin. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made everything so easy for us. We spent the day at the pool and had dinner in the great dining room, which had a table that fit 11 people. The hosts provided catering through their restaurant, and the food was delicious! Here are some specific details about our stay that we loved: * The cabin was very spacious and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a large living room with a fireplace. * The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a detailed information about the area and were always available to answer our questions. * The pool was amazing! It was clean and well-maintained, and it was the perfect place to relax and cool off. * The dining room was large and inviting, and the food from their restaurant was really good and the location was so convenient for picking up catering for a large group. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this cabin and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable time. Host was incredibly hospitable and was even able to deliver in person some of the items we left behind. This is a great place to stay with amazing people hosting it. Highly recommended!!
