Bristol Night Race ‘24

Mountain retreat

Seclusion & Tranquility

Equipped with everything you need for a short, or 30 day stays like me! The new pergo-like floors are elegant and the upgrade to Starlink satellite internet is excellent for remote working.The property is secluded & peaceful, gorgeous in the fall and just as lovely in the summer with the lush surrounding greenery. Love the cozy front porch to just sit and relax with the sounds of nature and wind chimes, or watch the stars and fireflies enjoying the cooler temps at night. Top it off with amazing hosts Kim and Art... they are the best :) You will love your stay here!

Roan Mountain retreat
Publié le 2 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayJust back from a spring getaway to beautiful Roan Mountain. This was our second stay at Kim and Art's lovely mountain cottage. Had a great time hiking with our dogs, who loved being off leash at the property. The cottage is clean, cozy and artfully decorated. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. We look forward to our next visit!

Serenity & Seclusion to my Heart's Content!
Publié le 24 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWow! The cottage & surrounding property are magnificent & everything you could possibly desire for a secluded getaway. From the moment we (me & pup) drove up the private gravel driveway, I knew it was exactly what I wanted for my 30 day stay while working remotely. Quiet, peaceful, serene with no neighbors in sight other than the wild turkeys & visiting deer which you could watch from the front porch. The cottage is decorated simply in good taste with attention to details, furnished comfortably and equipped with full kitchen amenities which was perfect for my every day cooking and became "my home away from home." This place is treated like a home, not a rental. Comfy mattress, lovely electric fireplace adding to the mountain vibe, perfect sized TV for the space, plenty of hot water, central A/C & heat kept us comfortable at all times. My pup loved roaming around the property and our daily walks even up/down the driveway scrunching fall leaves by the creek became an adventure. I could go on and on... needless to say LOVED every single minute of our stay and felt a twang of sadness as we prepared to leave just a couple days ago. Kim & Art are wonderful hosts, just a text/call away, attentive to every need, treated us more like friends than visitors and provided excellent resources for discovering NE TN. I am grateful to have found them & their lovely cottage & will be returning as much as possible. Wishing them all the best and looking forward to seeing them again! Pat & Keeko

Amazing Weekend Getaway

Lots of space for our dog to run and great change of scenery from our downtown apartment living. Trails are not far and a very easy drive! The cabin had everything we needed to make it a relaxing getaway, would definitely go back again!
