Wonderful Stay
Publié le 12 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur group enjoyed the peaceful seclusion of this beautiful property. We spent a week at the cabin and left only once to see some of the local waterfalls. The views of Lake Fontana and background mountains were stunning, particularly during early morning and before sunset.
The cabin itself is spacious, well appointed, and was very comfortable for our group. We highly recommend this property.

So Worth It!!!!!!!
Publié le 25 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur stay at Fontana Cabin was amazing!!! Starting with the initial booking, Mr. Robert is a great host and was very informative. Please read all the material he sends you. It is worth it. The cookware and property essentials are well up to date. The only thing you need is your food, of course. The beds are very comfortable. Fontana Cabin is very spacious. There is no need for everyone to be under one another. There is plenty of room to spread out. The balcony/deck will be your favorite spot. It was for us. Since our stay was after Hurricane Helene, we did not venture off the property too far. We did a little scenic drive, and it was worth it. the views of nature are just breathtaking. Trust me, you will be very pleased with your stay here. NO ONE WANTED TO LEAVE!!!! We most definitely will return for a future visit. We tried to book another visit before we left but the date we wanted was already taken.

Awesome weekend at Fontana Cabin!

Gorgeous cabin in secluded woods overlooking Fontana Lake
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful and well equipped cabin in a secluded area, perfect for a relaxing weekend or home bae for activities in the area (we hiked, boated and whitewater rafted). Robert gave us all the info we needed and everything was as described. Hope to return in the future!

Another perfect vacation
Publié le 15 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is our fourth stay at the Fontana Cabin, so it has become a tradition. Robert is very caring and professional; he ensures we have everything we need to have a wonderful stay.
Don't let the dirt/gravel road scare you. Sime of our group drove sedans and had no trouble at all. We always bring everything we need for the week. I grew up here so we sometimes leave for a meal out, but for the most part, we sit on the porch and enjoy the incredible view.

I’m glad to hear the dirt/gravel road was no issue. The Forest Service recently resurfaced the gravel portion of the road, which has made a big difference for us.
