Good location in an attractive part of rochefort. Close to shops and the market square. Excellent breakfast. No parking but large central free town car park just across the road.

A Hostel not a hotel

Rooms are tiny, thin walls..more like a hostel that a hotel.
Receptionist was very pleasant.
The hotel needs a full refurbish, soundproofing and rework of the room structure..
Coupled with that there were only 3 places , none of them particularly good to eat in the town at night, all others were shut!..What a shame.

Posted Mar. 2, 2018 on HotelsGreat location in Rochefort, Lovely hotel. Plenty of on-street parking (February 2018). Very friendly and helpful reception. Great suggestions from reception regarding local restaurants.

We stayed at this hotel on our drive through France to Spain. It was a little basic but comfortable and with free parking and wifi met out needs for one night.

Pros: Delightful owners , very clean and comfortable
Cons: A lift (elevator) and it would only cost a small fortune
Location: Charente - Maritime is a fabulous place to stay and Rochefort is well placed to visit all the places of interest
This is a good , well run, hotel; with a number of little touches that lifts it into a higher bracket. BUT it doesn't have a lift and when you're getting on and your room is on the second floor that starts to matter
