Excited to stay but when wanting to enjoy the pool area as well as spa it was caution taped off and area was trashed. When asking the front desk about this he acted as if unaware then stated oh well let me check with maintenance to see if it was cleaned. Stated there was an unattended youth had an accident there. The air conditioner was blowing and it was filled with clothes and garbage.

Upon checking in, i paid to upgrade our room. Later on in the evening, as our children were sleeping, our toilet began to flood for no apparent reason. We had to wait until the next morning for maintenance to snake the pipe. Didnt make a big deal about it. Proceeded to try to just go to bed, to realize that our bed was either just completely worn out or broken. With our children sleeping already, we tried to get some sleep. There were notes taken on our room both the night before and the following morning for management. After only getting 3 hrs of sleep because the weight of my wife, who is half my size (125 lbs), was causing the mattress to sink so much that it was actually pulling me towards her. We did try to switch sides but that side of the bed provided absolutely no support to my body. I requested a refund the morning after at which time i was told i needed to contact expedia. I contacted expedia just for expedia to tell me that the hotel needed to confirm everything. Management then tried to say that the bed wasnt like that before we stayed there. Which couldnt have been further from the truth.
Im not sure if they truly believed that i would be somebody to just accept that crap based off appearance or if they truly think that they're smarter than me as they attempted to spin accountability around. I hold a near doctorate in business, run the analytics department for my company, and have 20 years of business experience.
This was poor business. Simply put.

We always aim to provide our guests with the best possible service, and we regret that we were unable to meet your expectations on this occasion.When you spoke with our General Manager and myself at the Front Desk, we applied a discount to your reservation for the inconveniences we had spoken of, but we told you that pending investigation of the room, we would reach out if we felt more of a discount was due. We did not find any issues with the room during the investigation and felt this did not warrant a deeper discount than was provided.I understand that this can be frustrating, but we'd love to invite you back to stay with us again if you're interested and willing to do so.

We booked this while traveling with our kids to attend a funeral. The pool would have been great, but there was a birthday party and a softball team/teams. So the pool was not really safe for the our smaller children as those folks were un there living it up. Also the poolside rooms felt really damp inside, so be prepared for that if you request a poolside room, i doubt there is much a hotel could do about that.

Our weekends here tend to be quite a bit busier as our pool is a main attractant for out hotel. We do offer staffing on site for our pool area and hallways in case we need to tend to some out of control or rowdy kiddos. I hope you were able to request a different room from our front desk staff to help with the damp issue you experienced. We hope that you'll visit us again sometime and give us another opportunity at a superior experience.
