Needs a deep clean
Publié le 18 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe host was nice and reached out before we were to arrive. Unfortunately the apartment needs a really deep clean. There was a dirty sock in the kitchen, mouse poop all over, under the beds were dirty, and there was dry blood on a comforter. The worst part was the hair that was on the wall and soap in the shower. The neighborhood was rough, but that’s no fault of the owners.

Great stay
Publié le 9 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had an amazing stay at thia location. We were a family of 10 but we were comfortably. The hoat was amazing. She replied quickly with any questions or concerns. Kitchen was stocked with different kinds of utensils, pots, plates, and cups. There were plenty of clean fresh towels and sheets. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the early mornings and late evenings. There is a playground down the street and toys are provided on the inside. The host was great at informing us about any issues in the surrounding areas. Parking was great. We had a lovely time and looking forward to ataying again when we are in Rochester.

Publié le 25 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayIt was convenient to oak hill country club, it was clean, no cat smell when got upstairs , beds were a little too firm and pillows not good, definitely bring own pillows, overall it was very good for the amount of time spent there basically just to sleep. Host was easy to reach and helpful .

Completely misrepresented- not a 3br
Publié le 29 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayWas here 10 minutes before leaving. Listed as a 3br, is a 1br. Their attempt of calling a closet a br by tossing a mattress on the floor does not fly. We understood there would be an air mattress, but not all multiple. No privacy for more than one couple. Dirty sheets on beds, hair in the bathtub, and no communication from the property manager on how to get in prior the getting there and having to call them. Was told by homeowner to call husband upon arrival if any issues since she would be at work, no answer and no return call from him. Attempted to get a refund from Evolve, the property manager, and they never once contacted me before deciding to keep my money anyway. After having great experiences the rest of my trip using only VRBO properties, I’d stay elsewhere if I were you.

Nightmare Stay
Publié le 15 août 2022 sur HomeAwayWe didn't know where the entrance was when we arrived at the house. After we got in there was a smell of cat urine and cat poop found in closet. Son-in-law who works in pest control found Roach bait in kitchen cabinets. They left immediately but I thought things were okay until my son saw 2 roaches on the ceiling. I was able to catch one of the roaches for the owners to see. We then immediately after that staying in a Hotel 35 minutes away. We were only refunded 1 night instead of for both nights. Will not use VRBO in the future.

Immediately upon your departure, we had Pest Control complete a professional inspection and extermination to avoid any pest concerns for any future guests. The specialist reported no evidence of any pests but performed the extermination regardless. To ensure efficiency, we had the home thoroughly cleaned and serviced to clear any odor. In understanding your concerns, you were refunded accordingly for your troubles. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Fine but could be cleaner
Publié le 4 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayIt was a place to sleep, and it functioned just fine for that. We wished the carpets had been vacuumed, bathroom mats cleaned, etc. The beds and towels were clean. It would’ve been nice to have the fridge and freezer running in advance and to have better stocked kitchen drawers—there was no spatula to be found so we had to flip our eggs with a plastic knife. Otherwise, it was just fine. The kids enjoyed the toys in the entryway.

Great stay

It was a little cozy for our larger group, but that's to be expected with as many as we had! The host was communicative, helpful, and positively delightful. The house is in a great location for access to anything in Rochester. Would stay again if we're back in this area.
My younger children absolutely loved the pinball game - probably more than the things we came to Rochester to see.
