They were doing construction in hotel so one elevator dedicated to that. That left only one elevator, had to wait a long time for one.

Perfect location to Mayo Clinic and walking subway, very nice breakfast included. Parking is not included and is $$3/day cheaper at Graham Parking which is accessible via walking subway from hotel or via outside, just across the street.

Room was not clean, very outdated, carpet and furniture needs to be replaced, breakfast area not well stocked, juice machine out of order, no waffle mix and others said they were having troubles with waffle iron. Parking is over priced. Parking is cheaper at ramp across the street. Only positive was being across the street from the Mayo Clinic. Don’t recommend staying here.

Best choice for us

When you walk in to the hotel, it is not very impressive. There is a small sitting area with a TV and a fake fireplace, and a check in desk. I believe there is the subway to the Mayo Clinic available, we just crossed the street because the hotel is so close. The latest one can stay without paying for another night is 1pm, check out is 12 The reason I gave the hotel a five is because of the room. It has a larger personal refrigerator, brand new furniture and several large mirrors. The bathroom is not updated yet, it the shower is really nice. The price is really great, the lowest we could find. When one considers the location, a pool, breakfast, a pool table, and parking, this hotel becomes a 5. There is on site parking, $15 per night, though the car needs to be gone by 3 pm the day you are leaving.
