Life on the River

The cabin was well equipped and contained all the necessary amenities that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The hosts were friendly and helpful, even offering us farm fresh eggs in the morning. Although there was no ac the cabin remained cool throughout the day and night. This was an excellent getaway!

Serene perfect place to stay

Highly recommended.
Spent 3 nights here with my 10 year old son and we couldn’t have asked for more.

A thoroughly wonderful experience

I counted 44 bird species from the back deck, which overlooks the beautiful Kettle River. We swam in the river, played golf at the excellent course nearby, cycled the rail trail across the river, and canoed in Jewel Lake. The cottage is absolutely clean, and utterly charming. Debbie and Lanny are delightful hosts, as are their 7 curious turkeys. We're already planning our next visit.

Great little get away
Publié le 12 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe Little House is great, Lanny and Debbie were great hosts. The turkeys and chickens entertained the kids, they also loved the water right behind the house. Great little getaway from daily life, just what we needed.
