Great Location!

Situated at the quiet, less-developed end of Wanaksink Lake, the home features two kayaks, paddles, life jackets, a rowboat, a fire pit, plenty of wood generously provided by the home owner, a wheelbarrow to transport the wood, Adirondack chairs with seat cushions, fishing poles and a tackle box, an outdoor grill, outdoor shower, and a picnic table with umbrella.
The kitchen has everything you’ll need except food.
There’s a washer and dryer, too.
There’s a tight shower, but the water pressure is good and it gets hot enough.
The air conditioner will cool the entire place, but you need to keep the bedroom doors open to maintain the temperature in them.
We will gladly stay here again in the future!

just as fantastic the second time

It was just as delightful, and we would recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing, beautiful stay by a lake. The host was gracious and responsive and everything was exactly as described. We will almost certainly be returning again!

Excellence in Simplicity

The quiet and scenery fueled tons of inspiration for us and got our creative juices flowing - we got a ton of great work done. Plus, everything was immaculate, super cozy, and the perfect size for a couple. We took out the boat and built an outdoor fire, watched movies and cooked in the awesome kitchen. A rustic oasis for an incredible getaway. ❤️

amazing, tranquil lake house

The house was comfortable and had every amenity we could have wanted. The lake was beautiful and it was so relaxing to use one of the property's included kayaks to spend time out on the water.
The owner was friendly, responsive and helpful, and overall we had a fantastic stay. We will definitely be back!

Quiet lakeside retreat
