Better than advertised
Posted Aug. 5, 2024 on HomeAwayThis house fits into the region perfectly and was a wonderful place for our stay at the Oregon coast. I stayed here for a few weeks with my 9 year old boy and 7 year old girl. The house is nicer than it looks in the photos and provided us a wonderful taste of life at the coast. The beach is extremely close and the town is just a very short drive away. Near lots of other small towns and many state parks/nature attractions worth exploring, too!
Cons: there's a lighthouse about a mile away that beeps every 20 seconds, almost all night and day! It can be fairly loud, depending on the direction of the wind. Took us awhile to be able to sleep through it in the mornings. I also recommend sharpening ot updating the kitchen knives, they were hard to use due to dullness.

I'm looking into your beeping issue. I have never heard a beeping at the house and have had no other comments mentioning the noise in the past. Would you respond to our VRBO email with more info? There are no lighthouses in the area, so I'm not sure where to start.

Posted Sep. 9, 2023 on HomeAwayGreat location and the house has everything you need. Great beach to walk on! The living room furniture wasn’t comfortable for my 90 year old mom but if you aren’t sitting around a lot it’s ok.

Beautiful family vacation
Posted Aug. 11, 2023 on HomeAwayOur stay was great. We stayed a total of 11 nights and enjoyed every second of it. The house is cozy and a cute beach house. The 5 min walk to the beach made going to the beach a breeze and meant we could go often. Thank so much for sharing your home with us. We cant wait to come back again.

Cozy and comfortable
Posted Jul. 25, 2023 on HomeAwayWe really enjoyed out stay here. It's an old house but it's clean and has lots of charm. We really liked the location as it's not in the hustle and bustle (like Cannon Beach) but close enough to good shopping and restaurants and nearby towns. Rockaway beach is a very nice beach that is not at all crowded. Just a mile walk to the south gets you to a rock jetty with lots of creatures to looks at. We received the instructions prior to arrival and everything went very smoothly. We would definitely stay here again and the price was fair.

Banner Week at Beach Cabin!

Cozy at the Beach
Posted Jun. 26, 2023 on HomeAwayThoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean & comfortable. .Quiet, too. Nicely appointed kitchen. Didn't use the heat stove or TV for movies. Company of our friends took our time. I'd love to stay again! Hedi was a great host. Bedrooms are upstairs so pack accordingly. Not a problem for us. Good times.
