This was a great place to spend a few days with our family and pops, close to the beach and close to all of Rockaway Beach’s stores and eateries. Minimalistic, but cozy.

Dirty

We arrived at 4:30 a half hour after check in to be told by the cleaner that it wouldn’t be ready for another 20 minutes. We come back later in the evening and the floor is sticky and sandy, there are short and curly hairs on the toilet, the master bed has dog hair and sand all in the bedding. We ended up just sleeping on top of the bedding provided. The towels had dog hair all over them. The kitchen bowls provided had green powder residue all over on them and smelled horribly of marijuana. The tv worked occasionally most of the time it said check cable connection and after a few times of turning it off and on then it would work again. Master bedroom mattress is hard as a rock!! But honestly location is great! And you can’t fault the owners for the cleaning teams downfalls. I would definitely not rent it again just for the fact that it was filthy! Dog hair I understand because it’s pet friendly but the sand in all the bedding was unacceptable. I felt like they just re made the beds after the last ppl left and didn’t change the bedding.

Very Disappointing

This is the first bad review I have left on Vrbo. Of all my bookings, I have always been satisfied, and even overjoyed in certain locations. But this was not at all good. Besides the misleading post regarding this property the pictures are also a bit misleading as well. It seems as if the electric is not able to handle to needs. The heating seems a bit of a fire Hazzard. There is no vent or fan system for the stove top/ oven. There are a few other details about the house and surroundings, but its just easier to say, don't book this one. I really wish I could get my money back. The house darn near ruined my Mother's day weekend. 😞

Not too bad

The location and the price of the unit was great! The unit itself definitely needs some upkeep. The sinks all were leaking and no water pressure. For a unit that also accommodates 8 people, the hot water in the shower only lasts 10 minutes and you will definitely need to stagger showers. The master bed needs to be replaced as the mattress is completely flat and indented. We definitely made the most of our stay especially since it rained most of the 7 days we rented the unit. There needs to also be some signs about other tenants with dogs as they didn’t pick up their dog’s poop on the community yard. Other than a few upgrades to the unit, again, the location and price was great.

We have repaired the sinks and the water heater is working well. The mattress is in good condition, but we understand that each guest has their own unique preference. Excellent location

I'd like to say that it was nice except the floor/ceiling is very thin and we could hear every single word the people above us said as if they were in the same room with us and every step they took that goes throughout our entire space all through the day and night which kept us up a few nights and was irritating during the day a bit. But the location close to the beach was very nice and it had everything we needed. Also, there was always a place for us to park in front. As an aside, the bathroom door knob was broke so the door wouldn't close all the way and the bedroom mattress is really uncomfortable but other than that it was a decent stay.
