Christmas stay

I rented out a home to be able to have a special Christmas with my daughter. Once we FINALLY got inside. We brought our things inside and had to wipe the couch down because it was sticky and full of crumbs. Was told it had a full kitchen. When im told full kitchen I expect to have bowls, mixing bowls, baking pans, muffin tin, ect. Bought alot of food for a Christmas dinner and treats and was not able to make most of it. Went to the store and bought plastic cups. Had to wash all dishes before using. Everything was filthy. I wiped up a spill on floor and the napkin was black filth. Would never let myself of my child lay on any of the floors. Towels were dingy looking. While sitting on couch grab a blanket because the draft from the door is very chilly. Bed was okay. Wasnt expecting it to be againt the wall. Stains on carpet. I understand the home is older but doesnt mean it cant be kept up a little more. Definitely would not stay here again.

Not what was expected

Exterior courtyard long past due for maintenance. Rental interior clean except bedroom carpet which was stained and needs to be replaced. Bathroom floor tile cracked. And shower handle close to falling off. Kitchen sink hot water valve under sink turned off. And no drain stoppers for both sinks. Giving this place 3 stars is being generous

Just Awful

Dirty towels in cupboard, TONS of stains in carpet, garbage in garbage can, broken lamp. We left and got a hotel room. Still waiting for refund!

OK for beach house.

Had difficulty with lockbox. People in unit next to us had same problem. Picture showed TV in living area but it was in bedroom which as an “older” couple didn’t fit our needs. Thankfully we had an IPad, although Wi-Fi was slow at times. Biggest complaint was that the kitchen only had 3 forks, 1 teaspoon, 1 tablespoon, 1 ice tea spoon, 2 knives. 2 bowls and 2 coffee mugs. This unit was advertised for 4 people. Would we stay here again? Probably not.

Comfortable Stay

We had some minor issues with the property, but they were quickly resolved by the property manager. The property manager was kind and attentive to our needs. It was comfortable for two people, but would’ve been crowded with four. Refrigerator was small but adequate and kept things cold. Towards the back of the refrigerator things froze. I’m not sure what setting it was on. The bed was comfortable. The towels were very plush

It’s okay

It’s not luxurious, but it is a block from the beach and it’s affordable. This unit is in a weird little complex with multiple other units, all of which have paper thin walls and some of which allow dogs. Your dog may meet up with a mean dog belonging to another guest. There are two key boxes and the instructions on how to enter the unit don’t specify which one to use. The unit is super cold and impossible to warm up. The shower is teensy and dark. Everything looks way dingier in real life than it does in the online listing. Honestly, the only benefits are that it’s clean and close to the water. I plan to spend a little more and get a different listing next time.

Uncomfortable furniture

What is it with uncomfortable leather counches? I know this was also a futon and yet as uncomfortable as it was to sit on, I can't imagine sleeping on it. The bed....going for Princess and the Pea? It was so high I had to roll onto it. Overall very clean, but the furniture was lacking imo.

Horrible cleanliness

We had sewage coming up through sinks, shower. No tv as advertised, tv in bedroom did not work, broken chairs, expired food left in fridge/freezer. Hair on bedding. Food debri in the bed. I plan on contacting property management
