Pre-Christmas Getaway

We did have challenges when power went out for 12 hours, but that was due to weather conditions and not because of issues with the rental. We just went to neighboring town to eat and explore and came back to the house when power was restored. We actually had a lot of fun exploring the beach during the high winds - the weather was warm enough to enjoy our time outside, even in the rain. We look forward to doing it again.

View has changed

Lots of space to spread out, there’s an empty lot next door which was perfect for letting the dogs out and a fabulous mudroom downstairs. We had room to park a boat and used the garage to cook all the crab we caught. 3 bathrooms for 3 couples was such a bonus, it was easy to get comfy and not worry about sharing, timing showers, etc. Beach access was a 2 minute walk, the neighbors were friendly, and the street was quiet. Just be aware: a house now sits on the empty lot you see in the pictures, blocking the ocean view. Not a deal breaker but you might be disappointed if you were expecting to see the beach from your window. Overall, a great rental!
