Dilapidated house

The house was in terrible shape with many things broken and/or dirty. I should have paid attention to the reviews and chosen a different place.

The view was great

Day of check-in got a text stating couldn't check-in until 6pm due to short staffing, when arriving the house was dirty in a lot of areas, mold in the master shower, kitchen stove had food on it. Lots of areas weren't dusted, copwebs all over the house, bathrooms vents are full of dust. First night realized fridge wasn't cooling properly had to throw away a lot of our food, let them know they sent someone out the next afternoon, he just cleaned behind the fridge but of all the trash and dust there was but still wasnt as cold as it should of been. As much money it is to stay there a night and all the fees you would think it would be kept much nicer and cleaner.

HORRIBLE!! FOR MY WEDDING!!!

This was the worst experience staying at this place, I had my 50 person wedding here and the pictures were absolutely nothing like the house or beach, this is a scam and I intend to get all my money back. Tried contacting the host for over 3 months and no response, no beach access, rocks are placed all around the house. It depicted in photos and I had to change my whole wedding ceremony and reception bc of this. Not to mention the beach patrol gave us a $450 fine because of the parameters and this was due to the rocks we had no idea that were there. Luckily we made the best out of the beautiful beach and it was an amazing wedding but we could not use the house and I was had by VACASA. Never stay here. Nothing works everything is broken. Don’t trust these people.

50th birthday party

The house is in need of some major maintenance. For the amount of money that I spent, the house should be kept in better condition. The hot tub jets didn’t work, the sliding glass door is difficult to slide open and closed, and many things were loose and not functioning correctly. The list could go on and on. The location was the one thing that we enjoyed. Take some of the money and do some maintenance on the home. Also, the front of the house tiles as you go up the stairs were loose and broken which is a fall risk. The foosball table players are not stationary so it is pointless to have.

Sisters & Families Reunion

Our family of 17 found the Beach Villa completely accommodating for us. Easy e-lock-code entry, to a beautiful furnished home. Everyone had beds, privacy, and bathroom access; we brought our food and cooked meals in the fully furnished kitchen, and it never felt over-crowded. Clean bedding and towels, all plenty available. We especially enjoyed the beach views from the great room, the hot tub, and close access to the beach. I would not hesitate to recommend the Rockaway Beach Villa to others, and would definitely come here again.
