1700 farm house
Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was ok. One window had cardboard in it. Heat was off when we entered it was very cold and took a while to warm up and not enough washcloths for everyone. Bed was ok pillow was essentially flat.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes we did have a window pane pop out recently and have not yet had a chance to have it repaired. That is high up on the list! In regards to the temperature, we are a very energy conscious location and don't leave heat and air conditioning on while nobody is there. All of the heating worked and it just needed to be turned on. In regards to the beds and pillows, all mattresses are less than one year old. I will look into getting a larger variety of thickness for pillows. And finally, the cleaner had forgotten the washcloths but did bring washcloths to the door for you once you let me know that you needed them.

A true step back in time
Publié le 23 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was amazing to have the privilege of being able to stay in a home that is this timeless. However with an 1850's home, there are some aspects that may not be what you're used to, especially the bathroom facilities. They were OK, but a renovation in that area would be welcome. The beds are all comfortable! Great internet, too. I loved just seeing all the antiques ... and the beautiful views. We weren't often at the house because we were in town for our daughters graduation. It's a unique experience to stay in this home!

Beautiful farm house and great views
Publié le 10 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were in town for our sons wedding. House comfortably accomodated my family for the weekend. Beautifully historically decorated. Fields next to house back up to a cow pasture.
Recommend for peaceful stay and those that like the historic setting.
