Brown Manor (Hocking Hills Area)

Situated off a private drive in Deer Run Manors, Brown Manor comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. This charming cottage features one bedroom, a cozy sleeping loft, and one and a half baths. Relax on the deck, where a hot tub offers stunning views of the serene wooded valley below. Conveniently located just 30 minutes from popular attractions in Logan and the breathtaking Hocking Hills region, it’s the perfect retreat for relaxation and adventure.

Brown Manor is located off of the private drive in the Deer Run Manor community. Located just outside of Logan, it is close to Hocking Hills Market, Clear Creek Metro Park and downtown Logan. It is within 30 minutes from the popular trails in the Hocking Hills State Park.

Brown Manor is located on a private concrete drive. There are two parking spots off of the driveway available for guests and a paved sidewalk that leads down to the cottage.

Nestled on the side of a picturesque hill, Brown Manor offers a cozy escape for families, couples, or friends looking to unwind in nature. This charming hillside cottage combines rustic charm with modern amenities for a truly relaxing getaway.

The living room boasts a large picture window with stunning views, a gas fireplace for cozy evenings, and a smart TV for entertainment. A sliding glass door leads to the deck, where you’ll find a hot tub perfect for soaking under the stars. Outside, enjoy a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and a charcoal grill for delicious outdoor meals.

Inside, the main floor features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room for shared meals, a bedroom with a full bed, and a full bathroom. The loft upstairs offers additional sleeping space with a queen bed, two twin beds, and a half bath.

Please note: The cottage is located down a steep hill from the parking area, accessible via a paved sidewalk. Guests should be prepared for the incline when walking to and from the property.

Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the hillside views, or relaxing by the fire, Brown Manor offers a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home.

Please note, parking is limited to two cars.

The path going from the parking to the manor is paved, but it does go downhill to the manor.

For the security of our guests and the safety of our home we will have an external security camera located by the front door facing the sidewalk and parking area.

Internet is provided, but can be slow and spotty at times. Streaming is not guaranteed. Due to the location, we do experience occasional outages out of our control.

Weekend in the hills
Great location. Couldn't ask for anything else in the cabin. Had an amazing time with the family. Hiking Ash Cave, Old Mans cave, and even Cantwell Cliffs.. loved seeing all the deer when driving around.

Stayed 5 nights the view was serine. Private and quiet. Had a very great time. Only complaint would be the grill was sketchy at best. The stove didn't work the best very old out dated same wyth the refrigerator. Needed more cookware and tupperware containers. Knifes were horrible even bought some and left them for the next guests. All that said I would recommend this cabin and would stay there again. We even seen several deer on the property wish was very nice. If you're looking for a place for relaxation and peaceful this was definitely that!

Very comfortable ,a little short on kitchen pans and towels and garbage bags. One big frying pan for cooking could have used a small one for 2 eggs. Hope they emptied the garbage can outside,it was full when we got there. We still had a good time.

Great little place
This cabin was a really nice little place and super easily reachable from Columbus. The reasons I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the listing is a little misleading about how secluded it is. You can see the front door of the next cabin when you step out on to the deck where the hottub is. Also, the beds are pretty uncomfortable.

Great stay!
This cabin was very nice, clean, fully stocked kitchen. There was even salt, pepper, and coffee filters there! Hot tub was perfect and big enough for all 5 of us girls, with no touching feet. Neighbors were alot closer then expected, we could see them and hear there conversations if they were outside. Only con we had was the walk from the parking spot to the house, its kind of a steep walk down a paved side walk, but definitely wouldn't be a deal breaker to return to this cabin! We all agreed we would come again!!

Great Cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at Brown Manor! Chelsea was very friendly and easy to get in touch with. She communicated when there was a issue with the Wi-Fi before we even knew there was a problem. The house and hot tub were clean. The towels were thick and soft, plenty of pillows on the beds, and firm, but comfortable mattresses. If you are like us and unfamiliar with the area, this property is about 15 minutes to the closest attraction and 30 minutes from the furthest attraction. That being said, if you are staying in Hocking Hills area for the hiking and sights, any where you stay (other than on the State campground or cabins) is at least a 20 minute drive. Staying here was WAY better than a hotel room. If we ever return to this area, we will book this house again! Thanks for an awesome experience as a first time Vrbo guest!

Cozy and Convenient
This was a great choice for me and my 3 friends to stay at a recent trip to Hocking Hills. It was a smaller property but still plenty of space for us to relax, spread out, or hang out together. The hot tub was very much appreciated after hiking. Everything looked clean and in perfect condition when we arrived. The owners responded very quickly for the 2 questions I had (location of WiFi PW and how to refill the hot tub after use, no major questions). I would consider staying here again if I were to return to Hocking Hills in the future.

Very clean, soft clean towels, comfortable beds. The hot tub was excellent. The only thing is the steps to the upstairs are very steep with narrow landings, no problem for kids or healthy adults.

Excellent vacation spot!
This was a trip for five adult women and we could not have been happier! Plenty of space, supplies in the kitchen exceeded what we needed, incredibly clean (especially the hot tub), quick communication from the owner, and overall just excellent experience. We plan to return next year!

Weekend getaway
We booked this cabin for a little weekend getaway. The cabin was private and cozy. When we arrived there was an issue with the hot tub. The owners were quick to resolve the issue and compensated us nicely for the trouble. The cabin was clean and exactly how it was listed. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet getaway in the woods.

The house was wonderful, nice and the views wow. Plenty of room for everybody to sleep and eat. The outside is quiet except when the ac runs. AC has leaves or something in it that makes an annoying noise. I would stay there again.

Family time
Cabin was perfect for our family and location was nice for activities but not to much busyness of town. Hot tub wasn’t filled up enough to cover some of the jets but was great for after hiking all day. Beds comfortable, cabin had everything we needed for the few days we were there. The view is very relaxing and quiet area. Nice get away for my party of 5! My teenagers left smiling!
