New Year’s Trip

Holiday Celebrations
Publié le 3 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayWe were able to celebrate at this cabin with our three children, their spouses, and our eight grandchildren ages ranging from 3 to 23. Had a good time. The kitchen was well stocked for the several chefs we had in the family. Beds and floors a little creaky but might be expected for long cabin home. we toured the caves on our one sunny day, but had plenty of games to occupy us on the other others. Hot tub could use some attention has had some issues before we could get into it. Great having the large fire pit with multiples seating, but plan to purchase your small packs of firewood at seven dollars a bundle unless you bring your own. we made use of the cornhole during our rainy days. A good time for all, but having the maximum of 16 was a bit tight. Can see where 12 might be more comfortable. Still bothers me that there is an additional charge for numbers over 12 even though the listing states beds for 16.. Apparently this is a new trend. In addition to a hosting fee

We appreciate your feedback about the space feeling a bit tight with the maximum occupancy of 16 guests. While our cabin is designed with beds for 16, we understand that comfort levels can vary based on group dynamics and personal preferences.
Regarding the firewood and the additional guest fee, the fee for groups over 12 is in place of a cleaning fee and the firewood is offered, at cost, as a convenience to our guests. We strive to make this clear in our listing.

Christmas cabin 2024
Publié le 27 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was beautiful but a little too close to other properties. The downstairs was a little cold while the upstairs was very warm. With a family of 8, maybe a little more toiletries available.

Thank you for your review of Redwood Lodge! A tip for future guests, if you're burning the fireplace on the main level switch the to Fan setting on the thermostat to "ON" to keep the temperature more even throughout!

Hocking Hills Holiday

Perfect Getaway
Publié le 5 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe needed something last minute and not too far from home (roughly 4 hours south of us) just for some relaxation and time to decompress... this place was perfection! It was EXACTLY what I envisioned when picturing a "cabin vibe/rustic/wooded getaway" Sarah was amazing with communication and the check in process! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they keep cut firewood bundled for a small fee! Only thing I would recommend is getting a fire starter "kit"
We will most definitely be back!!

Great vacation at Redwood Lodge cabin
Publié le 13 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had 6 adults and three children 5 and under. We loved the basement with games, the huge deck with outdoor fireplace and the large open fire pit. Plenty of space for three families to move around in.

Family Weekend
