Beautiful Getaway

Location was convenient for many restaurants and the Rockford dam and downtown adventuring. Should have rented the pontoon. Great vacation for all of us! Building memories with the grandkids.

Publié le 13 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe rented this home in August 2024. Five adults stayed here and one afternoon we had a family reunion so about 20 of us used the lakeshore, which is PERFECT.
In case you missed it: there is a grill, counter, electricity, and a sink with water all right there on the lakeshore! Accompanied by a very comfortable dining set topped by a string of lights. We ate every dinner there.
The nearby firepit is great just bring your own firewood. We rented the boat and gas was included in the price. yipee.
Wonderfully, and very unusual, ALL the bedrooms have a lake view. One of the queen beds downstairs was changed to a king! YAY for my married child.
I had missed that there are FOUR bathrooms. 1-master 2-upstairs 3-downstairs near the 2 bedrooms 4-downstairs near slider to outside. (4th one great for easy access from the lake.)
The owner has many things available, overhead fans, AC works great, plenty of towels, liquid hand soap at sinks, keurig, large serving bowls, extra fridge in the garage, a myriad of plastic drinkware, laundry pods, mirrors!, Also an extra grill up on the deck, closer to the kitchen! The downstairs living room is a fabulous bonus.
The veiws from everywhere upstairs make you feel like you're on the lake even when you're inside! Plenty of parking.
The owner is SUPER responsive and VERY helpful. Of course we wanted to stay longer!
OH THE CLEANERS ARE AWEOME. So important. -And it was a same-day turnover for them.

50th Birthday Party
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat time with 6 people. 3 bedrooms meant that each couple had their own room. Everything was clean and updated with WiFi capabilities. Great outdoor seating area on water and fire pit. Would definitely stay again!
