Unique to Northern Illinois, this Spanish style Villa boasts five patios, a furnished balcony, a gazebo for the perfect small wedding and capacity of 10 + for sleeping. An 1886 outdoor dry Cantina with funk is only one of the many surprises you will find as you look at every turn to something unexpected. This property is filled with beautiful furnishings and offers a gas fireplace, Bar & Coffee Bar, game table, two TVs hidden in beautiful armoires, many seating areas, a furnished balcony off of the upper level that boasts a 12 foot ceiling. A large walk in shower on the upper level and a jet tub in the lower bathroom offers any level of self-care desired.

Exactly As Promised
Everything about Sedona House is exactly as promised and more. The minute you walk in you feel at home. And anything you think that you need has already been provided for you (seriously, I forgot hair spray and as I looked on the bathroom mirror, a can of hairspray was in the reflection behind me!). We couldn’t get over how absolutely perfect the house was for us!

My husband and I absolutely loved the house! The house and grounds were so unique and beautiful! We loved the big master suite, the hot tub, the cantina, and the game room the best! We had everything we could need and were very comfortable. We wished we had been able to stay longer. :)

A Fun and Unique Property
We six had plenty of room and a comfortable stay. The decor was amazing, a very fun surprise. Sadly, the weather was too cold to spend time in the gorgeous grounds. The location was good and we were able to explore Rockford.

A wonderful escape
We really weren’t able to stay as long as we wanted to, but Marlene’s place is just fantastic! My 220 something year old kids stayed with me and there’s a hot tub, a bunch of arcade games and so much wonderful outdoor space!

Great find in Rockford!
We needed a meeting point as we were attending a wedding at the nearby Anderson Japanese Gardens. This awesome listing fit the bill perfectly, and allow us to have a private place to retreat to before and after the event. Marlene was the most communicative host I’ve ever had and the property is in fantastic shape.

I had me and a few of my friends stay here for my 21st birthday and it was absolutely amazing!! The place was super clean l, spacious, and had plenty of games and toiletries for our use. In a great location near stores and things to do in the area. Also had some nice cats that hung outside with us :)

Your place was absolutely amazing. The efforts put in to decorate did not go unnoticed. I absolutely love the chessboard. The little nook in the kitchen was a cute touch. SEDONA Celebration
We needed a place that offered good location for activities, safety, entertainment, and we wanted a clean environment. We found this hidden gem that offered everything we needed and even more. The hosts communication was quick and responsive. The simplicity of staying here made us feel at home. When staying at any place you worry about everything prior to getting there. The what ifs and the unexpected surprises. We had zero concerns, worries and we were able to enjoy our time with our son. Pet friendly for our fur pup. We highly recommend this gem to anyone that loves tranquility and comfort. We felt like royalty.

Family Wedding Getaway
We came from other states to be together in the same spot. Attended a family wedding in Rockford, but we kept gravitating back to the Sedona. We especially enjoyed the Cantina and the fire pits. It was so enjoyable to constantly discover hidden areas and so much creative decor! We really want to come back and stay longer.

Magical Home
It looks like Marlene and her creative self has been working very hard for many years to turn this house into the magical, artistic and fun place that it is! We have stayed in some amazing places through the years, but NEVER anyplace like this! It is magnificent! It’s a variable museum and we LOVED it! The surrounding outdoor spaces are also wonderful. Bringing in 60 at the Sedona!
The stunning Sedona of Rockford truly is a hidden gem. I wanted a venue to celebrate a big birthday with my family and closest friends. The primary goal was to host 50 people utilizing the beautiful outdoor spaces this property offered as well as have space for my immediate family to stay the night and enjoy the amenities this home offered. It met every expectation and more!! My guests were in awe at this spectacular home where there’s something unique every where you looked. From the gorgeous furnishings and decor to the fun arcades the kids enjoyed to the outdoor cantina that served as a fun space to listen to music, the Sedona was simply exceptional in every way! I would highly recommend for a party or event 50 people or under. It’s perfect. Marlene the owner was so friendly and accommodating and the property manager, Gia was always a phone call or text away. Is truly a hidden gem
This home is decorated amazingly, from details in fireplace and layout to all the various decor throughout, so much so that in our 3 day stay we noticed decor we missed even on day 3. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The home is very private, even the place to park is inside a fence making it feel private and secure. We will return.
