Rockie on a weekend
Publié le 28 janv. 2016 sur HotelsStayed Sat and Sun night before trip to Great Keppel. The Ribs and Rumps as well as the Coffee Club were satisfactory restaurants within a few minutes walk. Easy parking in garage. Quest charges $100 AUD deposit on check in which I find strange as no other apart/hotels we've stayed in around the world do that. If you are running a hotel you must assume that there will be use/breakage; expecting clients to pay for it is absurd. Also, it is 2016, free UNLIMITED internet is the norm...get with it Quest. Adding a credit card surcharge is also an Australian phenomena. Refuse to pay it or dispute the charge with your bank. Visa/MC contracts with merchants do not allow this. You want business, then play the game Quest...quit trying to bilk your clients for the merchant fees you agree to pay when accepting Visa or MC. The vacant lot next door to the hotel appears to be an apartment complex that never got off the ground...not a very nice view. All in all, acceptable for an overnight or at best 2 night stay.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review on your stay at Quest Rockhampton. We are delighted you enjoyed your experience and found our rooms to be suitable to your needs and of a high standard. Our location is very central and close to some wonderful restaurants which we are glad you enjoyed. Many of our guests find our chargeback arrangement with several local restaurants to be very convenient and it offers them a variety of choices for eating out. The pre authorisation upon check in allows guest to utilise these facilities and the in room minibar whilst in house. Again thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back to Quest Rockhampton.
