What a wonderful place
Publié le 1 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayKaren was a wonderful host. It was the perfect location for North Cascades. Romeo the cat was a big highloght, suoer friendly and rushed to greet us. Just an overall great place, great setup and great host. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Best hostess ever!
Publié le 13 août 2024 sur HomeAwayKaren was so great! We arrived with a flat tire, and we were unsure of how we would take care of it the following morning. Karen researched the spot we should take our car and provided an air compressor to inflate it to get it to the shop! She also gave our boys a tour of the river near and went on a short hike with us telling us fun little facts about the area. She is a great person and she made our trip so much better. Thank you for everything Karen!

Just what we needed
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a great choice if you need comfortable beds, great pillows, and a good shower. It's a simple place with a full kitchen and is very close to North Cascades National Park. The owner is very attentive and responds quickly.

North Cascades Getaway
Publié le 26 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis mobile home property is very dated and in need of upgrades. Most concerning was the electrical wiring. Many of the electrical outlets did not work and many things were connected with extension cords. The home was adequately clean. The two good things about the home were its proximity to the North Cascades National Park and after a day of hiking, the shower had instant hot water and great water pressure.

Your low review is pretty unfair. I"m sorry you were so upset and left me a 2 star review because the Microwave is on an extension cord.
Sure there are things on the outside that could use some upgrades. Its in the plans.
Most people come to enjoy the National Park, not scrutanize the exterior of a single wide trailer built in 1960.
I cant help but think your low review was in retaliation for the extra cleaning fee I charged you for urinating on the king bed.
Im sorry but it cost me extra to launder the down comforter.

Not 3 bedroom. The king bed is in the living room, so no living room.

Clean and quiet. No wifi or tv but it's got all the basics I needed after a whole day of hiking like working hot shower, fully equipped kitchen and comfy beds. The proximity to North Cascades trail is what made it great place to stay IMHO. Karen is a great host!

Location, space and nature. No tv or WiFi but nit missing them is a tribute to the quite, realaxing environment

Excellent accommodation
Publié le 31 août 2022 sur HomeAwayDon't be deceived by your prejudices. This trailer has a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, stove and oven. It is air conditioned. The beds are new, the shower works, it was a great location for hiking the western slope of the North Cascades.

Wonderful Stay
Publié le 14 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayHad a pleasant stay at Karen's place and will certainly return for more visits. Kitchen was great and plenty of privacy both inside and outside the home. Liked the location, very close to Mt Baker and lake Shannon. It was also very clean on the inside and had a nice storage space on the porch for ebikes.
