Ants and well used beds

It was impossible to eat as every time you tried to make something, ants were everywhere.
The beds are very well used and need new mattresses.
When I let the host know we were departing early, she didn’t respond to say thanks or anything.
Our builder was kind and moved our closing up by 4 days as we couldn’t spend another night at this property smelling mildew and dealing with ants.

Nice, Quiet Place
Publié le 1 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayOverall, our stay was quite delightful. The cottage is located in a quiet local neighborhood where we saw only a few people from time to time. It had easy access to a nearby wildlife area and a short jaunt to Padre Island. Our only issue was that we were trying to find the place after dark on the first night, and it is difficult to spot with GPS directions being slightly off since it is located in between two other buildings with no clear driveway. And like a previous guest, we also found ants around the kitchen sink. But, the place was clean and fairly comfortable. The queen bed did have a dip in the middle, but we had no problems falling asleep on it. Kelli was quick to respond when we had questions and was a gracious host!

Nice for fishing trip
Publié le 19 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayNice place place but ac needs to be replaced, cold but loud. Too loud, will keep u up if not exhausted. Had ants come out at night from bottom of tub to get water. But still place to stay for the price

Amazing stay

Bath soap would have been nice also large beach towels. Only a suggestion.
