A bit of a hike to the metro station but also too close to get an Uber to/from - so plan a walk if you have luggage. Nice rooms. Bikes available for rent. GREAT staff. Nick at the front desk was more than helpful with a few requests.

Awesome hotel

Most horrendous experience arrived at midnight and informed room not available. Room oversold boamed Expedia, which sounds dubious, probably sold room as I was late and did not check in. They said they tried to contact me to say room was oversold. The reality is this room had been booked for weeks. I waited for 30 mins for a taxi then travelled 25 mins to another hotel. I was in a worse hotel and then had to travel back to the Bethesda hotel for a 7am start, great start to my week. Thank you Expedia for providing such terrible customer service when I complained. I requested compensation for the one night of inconvenience which I thought was very reasonable albeit this wrecked my whole trip. I was informed yes we can give you a refund of £32, really is this a joke. When I called back after the line dropping they said I was not eligible for anything. “We really appreciate your situation sir”.
