I have stayed at econo lodge in Rocky top for many years now. It’s an older hotel that could definitely use a facelift and time and again sketchy people will stay here. It’s not the Hilton by any means. What I like about this hotel is that it is budget friendly. The place may be old but it’s always been clean and I’ve never seen a bug of any kind. The beds are somewhat comfortable and there’s a pool. They serve cereal and bagels for breakfast. It’s super basic but if you are like our family then you wouldn’t be at the hotel much anyway and it would be just a place to lay down at night. The staff has always been friendly and I’ve never had problems checking in or out with the correct bill paid and no questions asked. I’m not sure what you are looking for or what your expectations are. It’s not a hotel I’d walk bare foot on the carpet and if you’re looking for every crook and cranny like you would look at the Hilton then I suggest you find another place to stay. This is a cheap hotel that you can lay your head down at night. The owners are on top of it here too. If your thinking you are gonna party all night and keep people up doing drugs, or drinking then plan to get kicked out because they have a no tolerance policy. This is the other reason that I like this hotel. It’s a two star hotel that I rate at least 4 stars because they have all that my family needed here.

It was dated, but well kept. Only complaints are poor breakfast and floors in the room could use a good mopping.

Publié le 13 juill. 2024 sur HotelsThis place has not been updated and maintained in many years. The bottom of the shower tub looked so bad that I decided not to shower. The lights are very dim and depressing. The air conditioner filter where the air comes out had not been cleaned in years. The “breakfast” was cereal and bagels. No protein. Sheets and pillowcases were clean, though!
