2024 Labor Day retreat

Pluses: on water, had canoe,kayak, boat house, comfortable rooms, plenty of towels, pots, pans.
Minuses: house could use a deep cleaning.. spiders, bugs. The back deck was very sticky, so that automatically came in the house

Nice Lakeside Getaway
Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HomeAwayGorgeous view and perfect access to the lake. Neighborhood was beautiful with lots of friendly dogs dropping by to say hello and grab a few pats. Really enjoyed sitting on the back porch and taking in the sights and sounds. Very laid back and peaceful. Located a short drive from town but still beautifully situated in the country. Enjoyed our stay.

Family trip

It was close to the main water but in a cove where the kids could swim and play without worrying about boats coming by. We brought our kayaks and the kids floated around in the cove. The house was clean inside and just the right size for our family of 9. Will be going back for sure!

Perfect place for children
Publié le 21 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayNice large spaced out house. Great boat dock with 2 boat lifts and swim dock for plenty of swimmer's. Walk out your back door 40 feet and into the ankle deep water! Quiet neighborhood and the perfect place for a great stay! Beds not that great.

What a beautiful view to wake up to😊
Publié le 30 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayOur family Christmas vacation, was absolutely amazing. The house is very spacious, very comfortable and sits on a beautiful canal that flows into the Tennessee River. So very peaceful. The rooms were all nice sized, and one of them has a big balcony that overlooks the canal as well. Not to mention the huge back porch. There are four bedrooms with queen size beds and a TV in all of them, also bunkbeds in the family room, which is pretty big, and a ping-pong table as well. But of course, having three bathrooms was definitely a plus. There’s a laundry room, and big kitchen. It was also very nice to see that they had set up a Christmas tree for us. All in all, I’d say it was a very, very pleasant stay. I would recommend for sure.
