We loved the outside spaces, pool, views, landscape, proximty to train station for an easy commute to Rome & lots of supermarkets for easy self-catering. We would recommended days in Rome & Tivoli. This was a special holiday. Thank you.

Our family of four (two adults and two children, aged seven and four) had an unforgettable seven-day stay at this stunning property near Rome. The villa’s serene and expansive grounds were perfect for relaxation, and the on-site spa was a luxurious treat after our city adventures. Sunny, the on-site caretaker, was incredibly attentive and made our stay even more special with his warm hospitality and helpful recommendations. The large, tranquil property provided the perfect balance of adventure and peace.
The Wi-Fi was excellent, allowing us to stay connected when needed. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we were well-rested for our daily excursions. Every detail of the house was thoughtfully designed, making it feel like a true home away from home.
Nearby Zagarolo (and San Cesare) was a delightful town with fantastic restaurants and supermarkets, making it easy to gather all the groceries we needed for cooking. We loved exploring the local eateries and enjoyed the convenience of having everything so close by.
Highly recommend this haven for families looking to explore Rome while enjoying luxurious amenities and exceptional service.

Beautiful Villa
Publié le 3 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwaySuch a great place to stay. Very relaxing and the perfect way to decompress after being in Rome. Marco has a beautiful property and Suni was an all star in assisting us while we were there. Grilled steaks on the grill, pizza in the pizza oven. Steam rooms, gorgeous pool, and excellent kitchen to make home cooked meals each night. Hope to be back.

Beautiful House but disappointing end to our holiday
Publié le 27 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayThe house is simply beautiful, spotlessly clean and very practical. The kitchen has every tool needed to cook a 3 course meal. Sani who leaves in the grounds was very attentive to our needs yet very discrete. All went really well until 4 days after we left when we received a mail saying that our sun creams had marked the pool resulting into a very onerous damage. As guests we were blamed for using sun creams! It was very upsetting to be told we could be liable but for me it was even more upsetting given the surreal cause attributed to the damage. After a few days the issue was resolved by the owner but I didn’t appreciate the manner in which it was dealt with. There was also a mistake in the handling of a request for an extra night for which I received no apology. Overall a good experience, which could have been fantastic had the pool issue been handled better.

We are happy to have solved it with the intervention of the pool technicians who attributed the problem to a probable chemical reaction between the components of the solar product and those used for cleaning the pool. Unpredictable things that can happen. For the payment of the night, there was an error by VRBO in the calculations made during the booking phase, having counted one less day of stay. Therefore, the payment concerns the day of stay not counted, so even if VRBO is responsible for the error, we sincerely apologize. Hoping to have you back as our guests, it will be a pleasure to give you a better treatment

Publié le 4 août 2019 sur HomeAwayOur week in Zagarolo was amazing! The home exceeded our expectations and Sani, the caretaker, was very attentive to our needs. After a busy day in Rome, it was wonderful to return to the peace of the countryside and enjoy the pool in the evening. We explored the village of Zagarolo and found wonderful places to eat and shop. We highly recommend Domus Flavia to anyone considering a trip to Italy who wants avoid the congestion of Rome.

Beautiful Estate
