The best getaway

The house had everything we needed, and we really couldn’t beat being right on the lake. We enjoyed a day of wineries and a day just chillin’ at the house. The house was so accommodating and comfortable. We can’t wait to go back!

Sweet Cottage on Cayuga

We spent a relaxing 4-day weekend at Bermuda Sunrise, fabulous weather allowed us to make the most of the outdoor spaces (beach with firepit, decks overlooking and on the water). Quiet and fairly private. Well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, just wonderful! Close to many Cayuga wineries; we enjoyed old favorites Buttonwood, Knapp, and Sheldrake. About a 20-minute drive to Seneca gold coast. Eric was a great host! We hope to return soon!

Finger Lakes
Publié le 12 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayUnhappy that the sliding glass doors to the deck did not lock. Asked the owner about it and he said it had a stick in the door. A stick does not qualify as a lock, it is a secondary lock. Didn't realize that it had window air conditioners and floor heaters. Didn't find that the floor heaters worked.
Most ceilings were vinyl siding that continuously contracted and expanded that were quite noisy during the night.

So sorry you were unhappy.
The board to secure the door makes it impossible for anyone to open.
The site clearly states that there is two window AC units.
The baseboard electric heat all works perfectly.
The vinyl ceilings have never been a issue for any other renter.

Restful and restorative

The hosts ensure a positive experience, one where all your needs are anticipated and provided for. I enjoyed the farmlands, vineyards, and hours of staring at the lake. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Nice Accommodations
Publié le 22 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay on the lake. It was our first stay on Cayuga and we were not disappointed. The cottage is cozy and cute. We grilled on the deck most evenings and loved the sunrises in the morning. We ventured out every day to wineries, parks and trails, and won a little at local casinos. It was a lovely 39th anniversary getaway.
