This cabin is available year long -

Welcome Boaters, Vacationers, Hunters, Skiers, Relaxers & Snowmobilers!!!

4 bed 2 bath family cottage, 3 min walk to the beautiful Higgins Lake with community dock. newly redone fire pit, large yard, plenty of out door seating on the large deck, nice and quiet area. 6 mile drive to the Silver Dollar Bar and Grill. 5 mile drive to the public boat launch with plenty of parking. There is no boat mooring at the road end doc. Our place is not a party house, it for people to hang out and have fun. We ask that quiet time is 10 on week days and 11 on weekends. We have neighbors that have been there for along time and as our guests we ask that you to respect them. Public areas like the dock need to be repected and know that its used by many and many houses are around. Please refrain from using cursewords , there are kids around.

Great place for a gathering
Everything was great except the parking. Had a great time, we went ice fishing and just hung out in the cabin. The amenities were great, they had everything we needed. The parking is on a steep incline and is enough for about 4 vehicles. I'd suggest 4x4 for the winter. Overall great experience.

Even though we went in the off season we still a relaxing week. I would like revisit during late summer or early fall and bring up are boat. Had lots of fun with the granddaughter in the snow.

Winter weekend at Higgins Lake
The cottage is lovely. Exactly as represented. Well-maintained, well-stocked. We were able to make Christmas cookies, go sledding and make s"mores outside in the snow. Located just a short drive to Hartwick Pines for winter hiking. Easy check-in, excellent communication with host.check-in, great communication.

Great place!
We have come here 3years in a row and are never disappointed! This is a great property that is clean, has lots of beds, and a well stocked kitchen. We come for hunting so we are out in the woods a lot which is so peaceful and beautiful! The cottage is homey and a nice place to spend time!

Great location! Amazing fire pit! Super clean.
We came here with our family for a long weekend and to catch some early fall colors. Perfect house for us! Very kid and dog friendly - with board games galore and a very nice gated deck. The fire pit area is large and has great seating options. Kitchen is the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had. The beds were very comfortable. Hosts were very responsive and easy to get ahold of. 110% would recommend!

The property was exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed the off season stay, it was very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was supplied very well. We did have a hard time figuring out how to open the windows but finally figured it out, lol. But definitely would stay again !!!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It is a short walk to the dock, short drive to the beach and hiking trails. The house was very clean, has a lot of space, a very well equipped kitchen, games the kids enjoyed, a wonderful fire pit, and nice yard area. There was good communication with the owner. Beautiful Cottage & Beautiful Area...
The cottage was perfect for our family of 5 adults and 4 children. 2 bathrooms were a must with this many people. The kitchen was well equiped. Kids really enjoyed all the many board games. The firepiot was amazing. Plenty of parking for all the toys and vehicles with the extra lot. Higgins Lake truly is the 6th most beautiful lake in the world with its clear water and sandy bottom. The cottage and the lake is well worth the three hour drive.

Charming cottage with the best fire pit ever!
This cottage was perfect for an annual girlfriend getaway. The cottage was very clean, roomy and has an “up north” character with kind of a costal vibe. We spent lots of time sitting around the huge fire pit on exceptionally comfortable chairs. The best fire pit ever. The place is generously provisioned with a nice kitchen, deck and comfortable beds. Highly recommend!

Great family stay
We were in the area for a large family wedding and the home was perfect for our needs. We loved the fire pit and being close to the lake. Beds are comfy and kitchen has everything you need. Just something to consider for guests traveling by plane or with limited space - host does not provide bath and beach towels. It was not a big deal for us as we had multiple vehicles and space for packing but would be an issue if we were traveling by plane or had only one vehicle to pack in. Overall, excellent rental experience and great communication from host.

Great time
We had a great experience. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We did have to bring our own bath/beach towels and paper products. We had house shoes, which was good since the floors were pretty dirty. The outdoor space was amazing and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. It was within walking distance to the water, no beach, but the kids had fun jumping off the dock still. Thanks for a nice place to relax.
