With a nice view of the river, and good pricing, it should be considered for those on a budget, with excellent knees. "If you cannot climb steep stairs, up three flights with heavy luggage, try elsewhere." Even the hall has a two step up and down plumbing elevation, as does the one high step up and out of the bathroom. It is higher than a normal step, and I missed it several times during my week. It is not in a tourist area, nor are there buses still running. You need to cross the river where vans are parked. The owner is a Canadian, very helpful. He even provides a local cell phone with some time for a couple of calls. It can be reloaded numerous places. I put $10 on it and called Grand Cayman, and many local restaurants. It is about a mile to a French bakery restaurant, across the river. It is up the hill, take the river road which wraps around past government agricultural offices. About the same distance down the same road by the street, before the bay, is the open late Kentucky Chicken. Food is good, but items are mainly ala cart. It is your only choice after everything closes after 2PM, and it is it on Sunday, except the other hotels with their own restaurants.
