Peaceful location, close to everything
Publié le 28 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cabin had everything we were looking for. Its location was perfect for the event we attended at Devil's Backbone. The setting is so relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch, sipping the locally roasted coffee the host provided, and watching the wildlife. We hope to return next year.

Peaceful and quiet
Publié le 9 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe first day through no fault of the property we ran into a problem, I broke my ankle right before we got to the property, wen got the ER and returned to the Cabin the following morning, we only used the lower portion for our stay and we had plenty of room and comfort.

Little Slice of Mountain Heaven
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayNot only was the cabin cozy and the property peaceful, the drive up was enjoyable as well. There is much to do in the surrounding areas. Plenty of hiking for the outdoor enthusiast, historical areas for the scholar, wineries/cideries for the foodie inclined and a myriad of antique/ vintage shops for the shopper all within a 30 minute drive.
The cabin itself has everything you need for a quiet retreat away from the city; we particularly enjoyed sitting by the firepit sipping coffee and watching the young deer roam around us. The chickens and ducks are alot of fun to listen to as well. We would definetly book the Cozy Mountain Cabin again.
