Condort hotel review

I checked out in half hour after arrival. Place smelt of cigarettes from entrance up to the room. Entrance and reception looked unkempt. The room did not look any comfortable. When I informed the receptionist about the smell of cigarettes she challenged me by staying "no one smokes here" my friend who has asthma was starting to have chest tightness so we checked out and looked for alternative accomodation.

Upon arrival tried to charge a pound for parking when they advertise for free. Cupboard doors hanging off. As i lay in the bath I could see the toilet was filthy under the rim. Noisy. Cold. Stinks of cigarette smoke in the hallway. Bed was like a bag of rocks. Definitely would not stay here again.

Very clean but a little rough around the edges. Needs some TLC. Very comfy bed. Easy Road access and lots of parking. Shower was at best like warm but mainly cold. A bracing experience. Good value budget hotel. I will definitely use it again though.

The worst hotel I been to

Well as we was travelling from London for a funeral we didn’t arrive to the hotel till late and we had 2 children with us there was no lift to the room had to go up stairs with them and bags then we got in to room were there was no heating in the middle of November I had to use the hair dryer to warm the room up the sink was blocked the shower didn’t work the list is endless reallly wouldn’t ever stay there again

Morning Carla Sorry to hear of the shortcomings you experienced unfortunately due to the age of the building we do not have lifts however we do have ground floor bedrooms I will check the room you stayed in as this is the first complaint we have received in this room the heating had been turned by the previous guest via valves May i once again apologise on behalf of the hotel and will rectify any findings immediately

The bedroom was dirty. There was a thick layer of dust around the edge of the room as well as an entire corner that hadn’t been cleaned for a long time.
