The hotel is lovely, with a comfortable bed, crisp bedlinens and thick towels. Breakfast was delicious,prepared and presented with care. The location is truly stunning, with a breathtaking view from the room.

Publié le 31 août 2021 sur HotelsAs a family we were returning to Bute to remember the past joys of 40 years)As a base the Bayview could not be better base with the welcome, hospitality, tremendous breakfast and the sea view from our room ( our daughters were comfortable in a garden view room). Despite the pandemic which closed down the restaurants and Mountstuart we survived on takeaways eaten on the terrace overlooking Rothesay Bay with Irene and Andrew providing the crockery and opening the bar. We explored the island tip to tip all remembering many great experiences of the past. We thank Irene and Andrew for making our stay homely and memorable. If you travel from Glasgow and have the time consider the route via Loch Lomond. We liked it so much we did it both ways.

The owners were really friendly and had very good rules for following the rules for lockdown.
The breakfast was great and I would certainly stay again.
