Lovely home with many amenities…our favorite place to hang out was the beautiful lanai with the view of the water and enjoying the pool and hot tub. Very peaceful and private.

Pet Friendly

The house was plenty big enough for my family to spread out and everyone to have their own room. So thankful to be able to spend time with them and bring our little fur baby. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool.

Beautiful property with everything you need!

The house and the property were beautiful and overall well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet, except for one night when we could hear music playing from a nearby home. The pool table, air hockey table, and ping pong table in the garage were wonderful entertainment in the evenings. It was a bit of a tight fit, but we enjoyed them all. The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you would need while there. The owner of the property was great to work with - he answered all of our questions before the trip and responded quickly when we had questions while there. Our major concerns while there - were the property manager's lack of availability after normal business hours and the pool temperature. The property manager only responded during business hours. For example, halfway through the week, it rained and we wanted to have a movie night. This was the first time all week we tried the t.v. and couldn't access the cable channels nor could we get the DVD player to work. We called the number listed for the cable and were told they hadn't worked with that property in 4 months. We called the property manager and she returned the call the next day. Another individual called to walk us through connecting the DVD player and it still wouldn't work. The individual stated it needed a different cable and would probably be out with that, but he never came before we left. A day after arriving, we asked to have the pool temperature turned up (as we have been able to do in other properties rented in the past, especially if paying additional electricity charges), and when the property manager called back the next day we were told it was set to a certain temperature and they wouldn't change it. It had been in the 70s that week and wasn't heated prior to our arrival, so it was colder than what we preferred. When we arrived we noticed one of the outside chairs had a caster that was broken and the lamp in the master bedroom wouldn't work. We called upon arriving, left a message and neither of those items was addressed during our stay. The day before we left my husband found a caster in the garage and fixed the chair. There are currently only two lounge chairs there, so adding a couple of additional lounge chairs would be beneficial as well as we couldn't all relax around the pool at the same time. We would definitely consider staying there again, especially if the pool could be heated a little bit warmer.

Firstly, I am pleased you enjoyed your stay and the house, and secondly a big thank you for bringing these items to our attention. Your visit did coincide with a change in the house management company so I can only apologise for any issues that arose from that during the transition and things not being dealt with quickly enough. That is something I can now resolve with them. We do not put a restriction on pool temperature, but it is set at the heater default setting when you arrive. There should have been no problem with you requesting an increase in temperature and the house manager to change that. Some owners do restrict temperature due to cost and I don’t think the new manager was clear that we have a renter preference. Most commonly is a request to turn the temperature down so this is certainly a surprise! With regard to the issue with the TV, its ComCast Xfinity. When I chased them up why they said there had been no service to the house for 4 months the customer services person I spoke with was bemused as she could not understand why you had been told that given the account is active. I think this just must have been bad luck, but I do understand the Cable TV issue was resolved early the next morning by the management company with a box reboot. There should also be 4 pool lounge chairs at the house, plus 2 sun beds and 4 folding chairs in the garage should they be needed. I have asked the house manager to verify this, but if not I will ensure we have sufficient chairs for the deck. My only explanation is that some may have got broken and not reported. Once again, thank you for raising these matters. If no one reports problems its hard to fix them.

In this property All furniture are very old. And discomfort.

Outside The house is nice but inside the house very bad. All furniture very old and Broke. Towels in the bathroom useful and very dirty not good for use. Beds also very old making a lot of uncomfortable noice. During the days I staid in this house I sleeped on the floor. The house is not organize. Carpet is very dirty. Dishes broke and old. My message to the owner please update this stuffs. Thanks.

Well Alisher, none of this is true is it? This is a deliberate negative review due to the fact that the house manager retained some (probably too little) of your security bond to pay for additional cleaning after the awful state you left the property in. You know you were in the wrong as you never challenged the bond retention with VRBO as the photographic evidence is damming. I quote a section from the house managers report for all to see. "I went to the house today. I was shocked when I saw the state the house was left in. I assume there must have been more than 10 people there. Pretty much all bedding and towels were used (inc. second sets). In the kitchen there was a pile of dirty dishes and pans full of grease on the stove. Food, rubbish, wrappers lying around everywhere including floors, yard, pool deck and even pool! Candy wrappers, drink cans, water bottles, cookies etc. It took ages to pick it all up and take the garbage out. Garbage cans were already full, with flies and midgets all over them. Fridge was full of old food too. Towels were lying around the floors everywhere. Somebody was sleeping on the floor next to the master bed. I found about 10 balloons on the floor. The list is long. Anyway, I need to do another clean which will need to be retained their deposit. This is the worst I've ever seen it in Rotonda in the past 7 years." Now lets also address you sleeping on the floor. The house sleeps 8 people and is advertised as such. If you had actually declared honestly how many people were actually staying at the property (we believe > 10 from neighbours, you put 5 adults & 2 children on the booking form) we would not have allowed you to rent it, so basically you lied to us. So lets be clear, none of the furniture in the house is old or broken, apart from what was damaged during your stay. None of the carpets are dirty as they are shampooed every 6 months routinely, but had to be cleaned after your stay. All the towels are of good quality and replaced annually, however if they are so poor why did you take some with you? The crockery is fine, apart from the ones you smashed. The truth is you rented the property for a party, made an absolute mess, blocked the pool filter with rubbish left in the pool & I had to deal with multiple complaints from neighbours and the Rotonda West Association after your stay. If you read the other reviews its clear that you are not being honest about the property. You should be banned from VRBO.
