The staff was very helpful and friendly! Bruce took very good care of us. The amenities in the room were very nice!

Pleasant room. Don’t recommend dining in the restaurant.

From mid June this year, we are having a new dinner menu for the restaurant, which is designed by Michelin 3 star chef. We warmly welcome you to come back again and try our new menu. Staff were amazing. Very helpful and went above and beyond. Property could use a little TLC - definitely a bit of faded elegance. Room 2 is the one to have! Breakfast daily was delicious.

Overpriced property. Older/not well maintained rooms. Our rooms have odor and bathroom has mildew odor. Was not comfortable stay.

Wonderful staff and service. Views of the lake are incredible. The landscape/grounds are spectacular. Only wish it had been a bit warmer so we could have used the pool.

Amazing Hotel

The highlight of our stay in Rotorua was the Black Swan. Clean, luxurious, beautiful location. Friendly staff. We sat on the balcony of our room and watched the steam from the geysers across the lake fill the quiet morning air with steam. A magical moment. The gardens are perfect and the setting is very peaceful and serene. A special mention goes to Jason, the day manager. He is friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

The Black Swan is a beautiful property. We felt very welcomed and at home. We loved our room and all the extra amenities. The breakfast was exceptional! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
