Suprised, and disapointed
Publié le 26 mars 2015 sur HotelsI was not prepared to arrive in a hotel with no host and this is probably the reason for my disappointment.
I go to hotels to be able to ask around for questions about the surroundings and to appreciate the common areas for the atmosphere they set. This hotel has no reception desk and you are greeted upon arrival by a safe with your room's keys inside at the top of a (steep) staircase. If you chose a room with garden view, don't expect any garden to be accessible.
The room is thoroughly equipped and clean, however my mattress was a bit run down.

Kein Zugangscode, kein Ansprechpartner
Publié le 31 oct. 2017 sur ExpediaMan braucht einen Code für den Zugang. Den haben wir nicht erhalten. Soweit, so gut. Das kann ja passieren. Aber vor Ort war niemand erreichbar. Also keine Chance, in das Hotel zu kommen. Mussten uns dann ein neues Hotel suchen. Ziemlich unproffesionell. Nie wieder!

Terrible experience and awful service.
Publié le 9 oct. 2017 sur HotelsArrived at the hotel to find we couldn't get in. No instructions emailed to us. Went online and found previous reviews and comments that said to go to no.92 to get code to unlock door. No-one knew anything at no.92 and a guy who worked in the shop next door said that there had been problems recently. Tried calling hotels.com and the owner direct. No response. Emailed them. Hotel.com wouldn't help. We couldn't get in and had to go elsewhere. Now hotel.com refusing to refund the money. It was a disaster. And overall I'll never use hotel.com again. Appalling service.

And never send me invoice which i asked more than 3times.
I was kicked out morning which he said check out is 11 which is 12 at website.
typical arrogant dutch business.

Hipster gatans lilla hotell med stora rum
Publié le 30 juill. 2017 sur HotelsRotterdam är toppen, hotellet låg bra till på en gata som var livlig med kultur, barer, bra butiker och restauranger. Vårt rum var stort och hade skön säng. Vi hade problem med incheckningen då ordinarie personal var på semester och en vikarie skötte den receptionsfria incheckningen. Vilket gjorde att vi inte fått de koder man behöver för att komma in. Men väl inne var allt toppen!

Beautiful room; no lifts & a little noisy

The location is both great in terms of its proximity to museums and eateries as well as annoyingly noisy (all night) as it is right snack above a busy road with pubs and bars. There are no lifts too so it's only great for those who pack light. Other than these issues, the hotel has actually very beautiful and large rooms. Great food and museums nearby.
