To be clear, there are not many choices in Round Top. This is more like an upscale, contemporary motel than a hotel. It was a very comfortable room, on the main highway through town. Check-in was seamless. Door opens to the outside. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Thankfully, the room was quiet, even though we could hear the music from the dancehall in town when we stepped outside. The coupons for a free coffee and breakfast item downtown were greatly appreciated (the breakfast place was excellent). But otherwise, no real amenities other than the basics, a coffee maker, and a small fridge. There was something about not cleaning rooms during a stay, but we were only there for one night.
