On first impressions we were really happy with the apartment. It was spacious and looked really nice. We checked in at 5.15pm on Friday and were staying until Sunday. By 7.30pm we noticed there was a leak coming from under the bathroom sink. Contacted via WhatsApp as instructed and I was told to mop it up and leave a towel there, they would bring a new towel the next day and get someone to look at it. Neither the towel nor a person came.
The main bedroom was well decorated, however you could clearly see body shaped impressions in the well-used mattress. To sleep in I've had worse, but definitely in need of a new mattress.
Both bedrooms had large holes in the wall where doors had clearly been used roughly and the handles had gone through.
Small shards of glass were found beside the dining room table, and having children with me and no cleaning supplies, I spent a large amount of time on my hands and knees ensuring I found every last piece.
Thin walls and flooring mean you hear every single step from adjacent apartments and those above. This also includes the trains on the line that is perhaps only 3 houses away, and the early morning street cleaners which woke us each morning.
The "kitchen basics" were definitely that. There was a very small amount of utensils and cookware. No cleaning supplies whatsoever, which is the first apartment I've stayed in to not have anything.
We did enjoy our stay, but mainly due to the location.
