Unpleasant experience
Publié le 26 sept. 2024 sur HotelsI booked online, requesting a room for me and my dog. Paid online. When I arrived I was charged an additional $20 for the dog. I don't mind paying extra for the dog but should be informed at the time of booking that there is an extra charge and how much it is so I can decide if I want to confirm or not.
There were other guests in the hotel that decided to party and drink in the parking lot and their rooms till 2:30 am. The onsite manager did not ask them to stop or even tone it down. He asked why I did not call the front desk to complain. He was there and he was aware of the loud, inconsiderate group causing the disturbance. I did not get to sleep till after they left at 2:30am.
If you want to sleep, look elsewhere. The manager did nothing to make us comfortable. And the booking agent did not warn me of additional dog charges. Drive by this one.
The room was clean and comfortable but the party next door ruined it.

Checked in, TV didn’t work, gentleman on staff was quick to respond. Floors were “sticky” in our room, residents down the way were smoking out front of their room, it seemed to waft in from the ac unit. The waffles for breakfast had a sour taste almost as if the batter had been out too long. The coffee was extremely bitter at breakfast as well. The indoor pool was ok, pool temp was fine, but there was mud all throughout the pool house. Towel fixtures were broken so we had to hang towels on the curtain rod to dry. The staff were very polite and helpful, but the facilities could use a thorough cleaning and fixing.
