Spacious 2BR\2BA home nestled in the ponderosa pines

The NUTT HOUSE is a chalet style house that was **not affected by the recent wildfires**.
The Nutt House is a three levels home with two proper bedrooms and three bathrooms, one on each level. There is a queen size futon in the living room. The bedrooms are nicely separated for privacy. One is on the third floor and the other is on the first floor (primary bedroom with sitting room and fireplace), with the main living area on the second floor. The house is nestled in the pines of a quiet neighborhood amongst the Sacramento Mountains and is very close to all that Ruidoso has to offer. Often at dawn and dusk, deer can be seen wandering through the yard. There is a spacious deck off the main level which has a view of the Gavilan Ridge. There is a nice outdoor area with a charcoal grill for your use. There are three flat screen TVs in the home, one in each bedroom, and a 55 inch smart TV in the living room with Roku for your streaming needs. There is ample seating in the dining room for six and then seating for four in the booth in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs (crockpot, instapot, blender, mixer, etc) and has been updated with hickory cabinets, solid surface countertops and stainless steel appliances. A full-size washer and dryer are available along with some board games and books for a take and leave library. Wifi will be available once service to TDI is restored. For the summer, the house has split air conditioners along with fans and the Ruidoso breeze to keep you cool. In the winter months, central heat and a fireplace are available to keep warm and a mud room with outside entrance is available for excellent space to store your ski and cold weather gear. During the Christmas season, the house will be decorated with a tree and a few decorations for your enjoyment. The Nutt House is a wonderful cabin that allows you to relax and enjoy yourself.

Overall great stay. The host was very communicative and friendly. Check in was smooth and easy and everything was just as described. Location of the house and neighborhood was perfect! Close drive to the mountain and super close to town. Bonus was the wildlife in the yards :)

Our group of two couples and two two-year-olds had a lovely weekend at this cabin! We appreciated that the two bedrooms are far apart (1st floor and 3rd floor), so neither toddler could wake up the other family. We also liked being able to close off the long downstairs staircase with a door and having the upstairs staircase in easy central view so that we could monitor all use of stairs by children. The layout gave our two families plenty of private space and plenty of space to spend time together. We were a little disappointed to find that the fireplace was in the master bedroom rather than the central living space--in retrospect this is made clear in the listing, but we hadn't paid enough attention. The central heating was plenty to keep us warm and cozy, though. The kitchen had all of the equipment that we needed to cook meals for ourselves, and it was especially nice to have a few simple staples (salt and pepper, spices, cooking oil) on hand. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice home located in town but felt away from everything. The bedrooms are separated by floors which was great for two couples. Definitely need to be able to climb stairs is staying here but for us no issues. We enjoyed watching the elk graze in the yard. The kitchen is well stocked. Very clean property. We would stay here again.

It was such a great escape from the Texas heat. Stairs are a little treacherous as I have balance issues. In some places there is nothing to hold onto. However, if you are young & fit it will be fine. Great sunrises on the deck with afternoons in the shade!!

Beautiful elk and white tail deer visited the property area daily. The home is clean with a well stocked kitchen to cook with and three baths made our stay very comfortable! Property owner is very pleasant and helpful. The summer winter park and horse races were big hits for the family as well as local hiking trails.

Had a great time in Ruidoso. The house was clean and close to everything we wanted to see and do. The balcony is a wonderful spot for coffee in the morning. We saw elk and mule deer in the yard. 10/10 would recommend!

House is as pictured. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. There are stairs to all levels of the house, but this was not an issue for us. View is wonderful. Owner responded quickly to any inquires. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
