Fine for a short stay
Publié le 17 août 2021 sur HomeAwayWe needed a place to stay for one night, and this place worked out fine. It was clean and well stocked. It was bit farther from the beach than we expected, although with a golf cart that is not an issue. So if you need an inexpensive place to stay on Spanish Wells, this fits the bill.
That said, I cannot really recommend coming to this island - especially if you want to experience the Bahamas, as there is really nothing Bahamian about this island. It is instead more more of a south Florida evangelical commune - complete with Trump flags. If that's your crowd, then you will fit right in. If not, don't waste your time and money on this island, and instead go somewhere more diverse and interesting.

I appreciate your praise for our accommodations, however please understand that your rating directly effects our property, livelihood and ability to attract future guests.
We would ask you to kindly adjust your star rating to be about the unit and rental experience.
We are sad to hear you did not enjoy the island and did not experience the diversity it has to offer. Our families date back to the 1600s as some of the first Bahamian settlers with deep histories to share.
We do not oppress our locals and welcome foreigners who may purchase property. Some chose to express their religious or political views and our community respects those rights for each to have their opinion. We’ve seen many Trump and Biden flags in 2020, and even more Steelers, Dolphins and Buccaneers flags during football season.

This little unit has everything you need (and if it’s missing they will get it for you!) in a convenient location. Short golf cart ride to any of the beaches, restaurants or store. We will be back!

The apartment is equipped with most everything you need. We also rented a golf cart from Jaime. Which was nice & convenient. Jaime did everything she could to make our trip comfortable. Thanks
