Amazing
Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe only thing that wasn't perfect was the neighbors, complaining about everything possible and constantly calling the property manager instead of addressing us personally...Not really fit for anyone under 60 because of the area but home and view are beautiful..

Lake stay
Publié le 7 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayEnjoyed our stay and the location was nice. Beds could have been a little more comfortable. Needs an a/c unit in each room. Was tough to sleep at night the doors closed. Good thing was we had a nice weather week.

How was our stay
Publié le 29 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayNo luxuries at all. The toilet in the hall was like riding A bucking bronco. It’s clearly not attached to the floor & is leaking somewhere. The kitchen was seriously infested with teeny tiny ants…eeeew! Not enough towels & extra blankets. Tons of goose poop in the yard leading to the lake…like a mine field.
The fire pit was great & we enjoyed using it each evening. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay with our family.

Thanks for the review Melody. We recommend that you bring any issues to us during your stay. My manager lives on site and could have fix most of your issues within a few minutes. We do provide soap in the event that you needed to use the washer and dryer if you ran out of towels.
I would say the best amenity of our home is the 5000 acre lake it sits next to. We have a private boat slip just steps from the home. A rare find for Indian lake rentals.
Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your stance, the lake attracts plenty of wildlife including ducks and geese.
I’m sorry they spoiled your trip. We strive to improve our properties and greatly appreciate your feedback.

Reunion weekend
Publié le 6 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe met some college friends and their kids for a reunion weekend we do yearly. The cottage was spacious and clean with plenty of yard room to play. Dominic was very prompt on answering my questions, perfect for our weekend!

Barpenson weekend!
Publié le 25 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had an amazing stay! Place is great. Enough room for all of us. There was 6 of us. Great place to launch kayaks out. Neighbors were super friendly and helpful.. Dominic is an amazing on top of it host. 10/10 repeat stay!

Perfect little getaway!

The property was directly on the lake with the most beautiful view of the sunset on the water! We will definitely stay again, but we will bring bath towels, extra TP, and a trash bag or two, and we will rent a boat for the weekend once the lake is cleared up!

Nice family time

The only downfall was the lake water condition. There is so much algae in the water we didn’t feel comfortable swimming. Obviously not the property owners fault. And I could have asked more questions prior to booking to find out more info. He was very quick to respond to any questions We would recommend to family and friends.

Thanks for coming to visit, Elisia. We were glad you had a good time at the lake house. The state and Department of Natural Resources are working hard to clean up the weeds in the lake. They have purchased several large barges to eliminate these weeds quickly.
The lake is so clean and shallow, any vegetation will flourish. It is an invasive weed but not dangerous at all and You can swim and fish in the lake as usual. Again, thanks for coming to visit us. We hope to have you back soon.
