It was a bedroom and shower for 2 nights. Two other travelers at the hotel during our two nights. Not a lot of draw to the area. Hotel was managed by a resident family. By resident I mean living at the hotel. Per the low nightly capacity it was not well kept.

This by far was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. I wasn’t expecting a five star resort but I was not prepared for what we saw. First the security bar was broke and when I requested another room I was told that the other room was the same way. Other room? There were only 4 cars in the parking lot! I was very uneasy but being we had no where else to stay we delt with it. Then we walk into the bathroom and there is black mold by the sink and in the corner by the tub. The shower curtain was absolutely DISCUSTUNG! Full of mold and mildew. I didn’t even want to shower! I thought that was as bad as it could get until the next morning I find a bed bug on the bed and one in the bathroom. I will be calling corporate and the health department to file a complaint.

The only thing I liked was the location. The room had a terrible bed, no blankets, smelled of smoke , even though advertised as non smoking. Shower had no pressure, shower curtain barely hanging on rod. Pillows on the bed very old and flat, smelled like smoke. No amount of febreeze helped. Trash behind desk where there weren’t enough plugs. Cords plugin to one outlet with some kind of extension cord. Glad it didn’t catch fire. Paid a going rate for an F rated room. Very disappointed. Some kind of powder all over bathroom wall, rusty faucets and no drain in tub. Disgusting. Sorry. Please do not stay here.

This place was disgusting and nearly deserted. The folks running the hotel look like children, because they are, the possible child labor situation going on there seems all to real. there was a little boy out front seemingly doing maintenance and the person that checked us in was not more than fifteen years old. we checked in and got to our room and proceeded to read horrific reviews about bugs and a myriad of other problems with the hotel. we promptly checked out within 15 mins after we checked in. it felt extremely unsafe and that folks were more or less living out of the hotel. the most sad point i want to make is the kids running the joint, they are kids and are having to do the arduous task of running a dilapidated hotel in the middle of nowhere. im not sure what the child labor laws are around here but i would not be surprised if they are in violation. They were perfectly friendly and nice, but no kid should ever have to be in charge like that.
