This was a great little cottage to stay at. So convenient to the train station, grocery store and down town. It was clean and had all the necessities you needed. Definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Jacqueline!

Holiday cottage
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayHandy little house to visit Rye and the local area. We enjoyed our stay and being able to walk into town. Parking nearby to load/unload is a bit of a challenge. We also felt the house could do with some kind of freezer (no ice cubes or cold packs for the beach!)

Perfect for our short stay
Publié le 27 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is light, airy and very clean. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels supplied. It's a short walk into the beautiful historic centre of Rye and there are plenty of places to eat out. We particularly enjoyed the vintage Penny Arcade - great fun - and the huge model with audio and visual history of Rye at the Heritage Centre, it was fascinating. The house is conveniently situated for both the train station and affordable parking. The only thing that would have been useful would be to have an ice box in the fridge to re-freeze the freezer blocks in the cooler box for trips out and taking food home. It didnt detract from our wonderful stay though and even the weather was hot and sunny, scorching in fact!
We would happily recommend this property.
